Polling, polling, polling away

Another day, another poll from the media  copy cats telling everyone able to read that Sarah Palin is not doing well in the polls. I have never heard of so many polls. It is like poll fever is showing up like spotted dog fever. Polling, polling, polling away the media fence sitters have joined voices with the GOP big boys to tell us all why Palin can't, won't. shouldn't run for president. These pollers and the GOP long pants boys are trying so hard to convince us, and maybe Palin, that she is wasting her time even thinking of running for president. Here's how it goes. The media and the GOP inner circle tell us who should run and who shouldn't run and who we should vote for as well. I say we can save the country a lot of money and save ourselves a lot of turmoil by just cancelling the elections. After all the media pollers and the talkers and the GOP big boys with little minds and no imagination certainly know best. Don't they? The stable of GOP candidates minus Palin looks like the latest oldies but goodies line up of the GOP good old boys show. Nap time, anyone?

What A Suprise, Not.

Shortly after stalker Joe was accused of leaking an anti-Palin unprinted, gossip laden manuscript by Bailey and that mud dweller to news organizations, the media follow cats rushed out to say that his rancid rant about Sarah Palin will be released in September. The compliant media is taken in again. Perched on their perches, waiting for someone, anyone, to hand them some mouldy crumbs to feast on, the media did stalker Joe's pre-publicity work for him free. Reporters promoted an unprinted, none fact checked manuscript as fact and then copy catted to report on stalker Joe's sure to be poison stained publication. Joe stirred this fire. It wasn't the media. These organizations too often rewrite stuff from blogs, gossip columns, stalker Joe types, and anywhere else they can pick up a fake story about Sarah Palin. Independent reporting is rarely done. The media has fallen from truth seekers to copy cats perched on a fence waiting for someone, anyone, to give them a crumb of anti-Palin gossip to rush into print. Guys, anyone ever think of fact checking this garbage? Yeah, I didn't think so. The media is more about fiction and less about facts.

Politico Takes the Low Road, Again

The petty gossip, distortions and massive junk about Sarah Palin coming from the so called "book" scratched together by Frank Bailey and the Devon mud dweller is being lapped up by the compliant and parrot-like media. No offense to the parrots of the world. But there isn't any question that when it comes to anything with Palin's name attached, these scribes flock together and mindlessly repeat each other. I imagine them sitting in their chairs, perching I should say, waiting to join in the next repeating. Politico, which positions iself as a reputable bunch of birds, is one of the worst offenders when it comes to Palin and repeating. These boys preen themselves every day on Palin gossip. The main preeners swooping down to peck up every grain of stuff in the mud and attach it to 56 point headlines are Andy Barr and Jonathan Martin with Ben Smith hot on their trail, or tail. If these boys spent as much time repeating trash about Romney, Huckabee or even Gingrich well then they would be pecking equally. But the boys at Politico nod off when it comes to the other guys but really relish repeating everything about Palin and casting it in a negative light.  These boys at Politico stick together and they don't play nice when it comes to that Palin woman.  The latest mud slamming foray comes as they flop around in Bailey and Devon's puddles. They swoop in like vultures drawn to flesh and they feed on it. The Politico boys repeat and promote the fantasy that Palin has bad layers they are pecking away
. When the reported leaker of the Bailey-Devin babblescript, old stalker Joe spreads his droppings about Palin, well we just know the Politico trio of Martin, Barr and Smith will gobble them up and parrot them. Boys will be boys but these bully boys are not professional journalists and they put the parrots of the natural world to shame.

Another Day, Another Muddy Tail

It just never stops. Another day and another Palin hanger-on slids out on thin ice to try to defame Sarah Palin. This hanger-on is Frank Bailey and he is accompanied on his self-serving slam by that Devon creature who lives aptly enough in the mudflats. Muddy tale by a couple of mudslingers egged on by that Palin stalker McDonald who is getting ready to throw his own bucket of muck on anyone with a few bucks to spare and dumb enough to buy it. Now this crew has an agenda and one of the agendas is to make money off the Palin name and career. All you have to know about Devon is that she is the mudflat mucker and Bailey and McDonald are now mucking along with her. Those throwing mud usually get mud on their hands, feet and tales. My take on it is if you want to read fables and fantasy take up Harry Potter. At least these books are good, clean fun.

New Vision

The big question the media hacks are asking about Sarah Palin is what is she going to do? Is she running for president or isn't she running for president. Let me say, it seems pretty clear to me that Palin is likely to run. Until she makes the announcement no one can say for sure. But for the media to rerun column after column of tired quotes from uniformed "experts" parroting that Palin does not like retail politics and isn't interested in shaking hands around the country is just nonsense. Anyone who knows anything about Palin knows she does the greeting line better than most. So I hope this old rumor gets dropped as I am tired of seeing it and hearing it. What I am hoping to see, once she gets the nomination, is her original ideas on solving the critical issues of this country. Kicking the economy into gear is not as simple anymore as tax cuts, small business job creation and building houses everywhere there is a spot of land. We live in a more complex world than ever before. The American middle class is at risk. Safety nets are in danger of being shredded for the poor, elderly and handicapped. Where are the good paying jobs? We need a strong, committed leader with the best interest of the country as the top priority for out problems to be solved.. Sarah Palin is that leader. Will she run or won't she run, we will know for sure very soon.

Time for Time

Time magazine makes a glaring and unacceptable stumble by repeating a fable about Sarah Palin as though it were fact. For a magazine with the reputation of Tiime, this is unacceptable. Yes the editors can run a correction. Yes the correction would be welcome. But it is not enough. Time bills itself as a news magazine. It has a responsibility to check and double check and triple check what appears on its pages and to do this before publication. Running a correction of its terrible blunder is elementary. But Time should also run a cover story documenting all the lies and distortions and rumors and gossip it has printed about Sarah Palin. It should express regret for these falsehoods. It is past time for Time to offer responsible, honest, factual reporting on all politicans. It is past time for Time to keep its editorial opinion on its opinion pages. The opinion pages should not include every page of the publication unless Time wants to change its description and change it now to gossip magazine. A news magazine has a responsiblity to report facts. It's elementary journalism. For now Time is not even in the elementary grade when it comes to Sarah Palin.

Back To Work

After a rather unfortunate computer glitch, we are back in action and none too soon. The usual gnats are swarming around trying to discredit Sarah Palin. A few new gnats have also flown in around the bonfire of false and manufactured and distorted claims. The latest comes from one of the darkest of dark horses for the GOP presidential nomination, Rick whats his name. He seems to imply that Palin is missing CPAC to haul more cash back to Alaska. Then that old dodger website Politico of course laps up the implication and churn it out as a headline. Then Rick whats his name throws a tantrum because he says Politico misreported what he said or something of the sort.Is he protesting too much?
I'm wondering why Rick is trying to sound like a candidate anyway? Is he trying trying to split the conservative vote? Who would that benefit?
